Does anyone know if the ATM's accept Maestro cards or is it still just Visa cards? Thanks

Can't remember but I would stick to Visa or you traveller's cheques.
There will about 5% charge on Visa for every transaction.

Thanks. My card is a Visa Debit not credit card. Does the 5% still apply?

Hi again
I don't think you will have this 5% charge, That's usually Only for cash advances on a Credit Card and Not a Debit Card, However the exchange rate that your bank will give you will be less than the rate available in Nepal, But I guess that they have to make their money somehow ;-) Happy Travels Rob
