I am going to travel on trenitalia from Milan to Zermatt through Brig. According to the schedule I need to transfer to The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. The guide says it is a 7 Minute walk from the Brig stop on trenitalia to the Brig MRB train but I cannot find a map or directions. Can you give me more exact info? Is it in the same station? Is a map avaialable?

The Matterhorn-Gothard Bahn is a private, narrow-gauge railway. While it's technically a separate station, it's not very far away from the Brig SBB station (where the trains from Milan stop). The private railway platforms are just outside Brig station. As you exit the station, cross to the first traffic island, then turn right. It's about 100 meters along.
Be aware that Eurail passes and Switzerland/Italy 2-country railpasses are not valid on the trip from Brig to Zermatt. Swisspasses are valid (but not on the trip from Milan to Brig, of course... :) Enjoy your trip! Mark
