I'm going to be staying at Quinta de Paiva near Albufeira so need to know if anyone has any idea how much a taxi would cost from Faro airport, I've been told that it will take about an hour from Faro.

A bit less than an hour, average is probably now 60-70 Euros, you should get a price first, needless to say!
