we are going to grand cayman for the first time in june. we wanted to know if it makes sense to convert our u.s. money to caymanian dollars or just use credit cards for everything.? also, are there any places on grand cayman that are good for shelling.?

Hi,
You can use your US dollars everywhere at a fixed conversion rate of 0.84 US$ for 1 CI$. Note that you'll get your change in CI$ if you pay cash.

Use U.S.dollars--1.25 U.S.=1 CI-change will be in CI-lot of tours only take
cash-if do take cards fees are high
