hi im visiting peshwar around sept-november.
id like to know which is the easiest way to get
there from islamabad. also i need info about
flights from singapore/kl to islamabad. kindly
add some tips about peshwar as it would be my
first time.

Peshawar, city of Pashtoon population, more conservative, than other parts of Pakistan better to wear local clothes (Shalwar Kamees and shawl).

Old city of Peshawar, Muhhabbat KHan mosque, Sethi Mohllaha're worthseeing places.

You can head to Thakt bahi, an hour drive from Peshawar city, 2nd century Buddhist monestary.

Swat valley and Chitral.

There're hourly buses from Daewoo bus stand, Peshawar road, Saddar Rawalpindi,

or to go to Karachi company bus stand there're buses and coaches to Peshawar.

Peshawar is only 3 hours drive from islamabad. i am basically from peshawar. i you need to locate any place or have any questions regarding peshawar. you are most welcome.

Currently i am in karachi city so can't help you in peshawar.

Islamabad - Peshawar Motor way is going to start in June. You can go Peshawar by Motor way in 2 hours total. You can hire a Taxi from Air Port for Peshawar or for Daewoo Bus stop in Rawalpindi. You can enjoy Daewoo as well.

Hope u must be doing well,it is really a great news that you are planing to visit the most historical city of pakistan(peshawar).The land of flowers and artisans.There are much to see and visit in peshawar,the most intresting part is the old city.Qissa khawani bazar(the bazar of story tellers)is worth to see,clock tower,street of shaitiyan(glimps of hindu architecture),mosuem and the tribal areas.
To reach peshawar is very simple take a flight from singapore to islamabad and from islamabad to peshawar take davoo bus,and you will be there after 3 hrs.so
do,nt miss this trip.

The tourisim industry structure is not that well defined in pakistan. So if u are travelling along its better dat u get enrolled with the tour operators and Adventure/treking societies. One such foundation is http://www.adventurefoundation.org.pk/ ....Just check the coming events and get urself booked on one such trips. These guys are very professionals as I have experienced a few treks with them..And besides its safe to travel with a group..On the other hand if u pick it up on ur own u might not make the best use of ur time..

You can check Singapore Airlines if it comes to Islamabad because Singapore airlnes definitely go to Lahore, or you can take Thai Air or PIA from BKK to Islamabad
