Hi Everyone,
My partner and i are going to Antigua around middle of June. This is out first holiday together so we want it to be abit special. However we have heard that its hurricane season from June - September. What are the chances of any hurricanes etc around the time we are going? Also we both love to lie in the sun and get a tan, does anyone know what the weather is like around Mid June time?? The hotter the better !!! If anyone can help on the above questions we would both really appreciate it. Sarah :) |

I think of the hurricane season in the Caribbean as being from Sept 1 - Oct 30. June is a great time to go down there generally, the water is warm, the weather is nice, there aren't any crowds etc etc

June is a bit early for hurricanes in the Caribbean. You'll be fine. Enjoy!

You'll love Antigua, don't worry, too early for typical Hurricane. Visit as many beaches as you can there. Read my little Antigua page.
