Except for a small section at either end, the answer is "Si!". And it's a great road too.

Tank you Robert for the offert, but we will be only passing Aguascaliente. We live in Guadalajara, and we are taking 4 american friends who live in San Diego USA,to Zacatecas.
¿Do you know if there is any winery- vinyard to visit in Zacatecas, or in the way trough? Saludos. Sergio

You got your question answered. It might be worth to get yourself a map or guia roji, since there are three routes to drive from Zac to Ags, all start on the main north Aguascalientes highway, but they split in tree different point and not all of them pass by the wine companies. If you follow the highway, that cost $28.00 Pesos $3.00 USD max one way, you will find a very nice smooth highway. The toll is when the highway is reaching Zacatecas.
The winery region is in the southeast, toward Aguascalientes but following the old long road, thru Valle de las Arcinas and Pabellon de Arteaga.

Do they still have that local-tipical restaurant, underground, where you can eat autentic indian canadian food?well that was 25 years ago in Vancouver. Adios Sergio
