I am heading off to Provence in May. Could you help me with getting to Pont du Gard from Avignon by public transport? Any other tips?

Google typing in Avignon to Pont du Gard by bus. You'll find a lot of websites with answers to your question. It does seem feasible and not that difficult, although I've only been there using a car. Provence is wonderful so enjoy every minute. Don't forget to also see Les Baux and everything else you can squeeze in!!
