Hi.
We will be driving from Fes to Tangier (The Continental Hotel), does anyone have any good directions of the best way to go, or even any pointers to good maps! (although I guess that might be asking a bit!)

The best and safest route from Fes is via the tollroad towards Rabat, where you then join the toll road to Tangier. Once you've come off the motorway, follow the signs to the city centre where you should also see signs pointing in the direction of the Port. The Continental is overlooking the port.

You make it sound quite easy! Hopefully it will be.
There are 12 of us going and we are renting 3 cars at the Airport, so will hopefully be able to stay in convey!!

Is the Hotel that easy to find?

Do you know of any source of street maps for Tangier?

The toll road is the best way and is well signed from Fes to Tanger. I think some directions will be helpful for finding the hotel, though. Make sure you get some money before you get on the toll road. Using ATMs with your debit card is cheap and convenient as long as you are not in small towns.

After you hit the edge of Tanger (Marjane hypermarket) keep going about 15 minutes until you enter a huge roundabout with an ornate mosque; exit the roundabout by the Shell station and follow that road to the sea. Turn left and follow the beach until you reach the port gate, then swerve to the left of the CTM bus station into what looks like a dead end... it isn't a dead end though: drive up the ramp, through the ancient city wall, turn right, and nose your way about 100 meters to the hotel. Don't be scared of the narrow street; you'll be able to turn around in the hotel parking lot.
