I am looking into buying a diamond ring in Antwerp.
Are the prices especially good compared to the US (not the UK, I know they are very high) and can anybody recommend a good jewellery shop? Many thanks.

I don't know about prices but what I have been told is that quality comes with prices.
There are quite some cheaper shops nearby the station and a few might be more expensive and reliable.
one shop I failed to visit is in the Vestingstraat
I think it is called Millenium
not sure and that is near central station as well but a side street.
they are cheaper because they are bit off the main street.
Then you also have Slaets at De Keyserlei, I think they might be ok
you also have diamondland in the Appelmansstraat that has a huge shop.
but if you really really want high quality you buy the diamond seperate from the ring.
