4 middle aged australians sailing for 8 days late May. Looking for some out of the way places any suggestions

Central Dalmatia has a lot of little islands, you can explore them all the 8 days. The most known is the National Park Kornati islands. There are lots of ports well equipped. End of May is a perfect time, not overcrowded as in July and Aug.

first of all, your question would be better situated in dalmatia region because central croatia is continental part of country.
i would recommend you to visit some extraordinary islands; kornati as a hidden treasure or paradise on earth ; island of lastovo with lastovo city; island of mljet-nature, forrest; island of hvar...

In australia we own our own yacht. However we are chartering with some friends when we get to Dalmatian coast
