Considering of going to jeju do on the 21 sep. Is it the peak season? Would it be alright if i don't make any accomodation reservations and just fly there to look for one?

September 24 is the first day of Chuseok, one of the most important national holidays. Hence, as of September 22, people will stream onto the island and finding a vacancy for hotels will be difficult. You can always stay at Motels of course. If you don't mind there should be no problem to find a vacant room.
I once went over a national holiday and (luckily) it usually doesn't really feel very crowded on the island. Only the hotels will be packed and you can feel that something special is going on... Cheers, Robert

Thanks a lot. Probably I'll travel korea then make my way to jeju after the national holidays. Just to check, I own a Samsung D900 (bought in Singapore) and my SIM card is a 3G, is it usable in Korea? Cos I heard that Korea uses 3G phones....
