I was just wondering what the best way to get from Li Jiang to Chengdu is? Id like to take an overnight train/bus if that is possible. Cant seem to find any information on this route.

well, there is not a direct train from lijiang to chengdu. but there is a train from Kunming to chengdu.

Check Travel Guide on Pangzhihua,Sichuan and read to and from Lijiang by Lion Beat.

If you can fix your itinerary, book your flight between Lijiang/Kunming/Chengdu in advance, lots of discout.

Get a bus to Panzhihua, then take train Panzhihua -- Chengdu.
