| Martinique | martinique in 5 days Posted: Sat August 9, 2003 09:57 PM UTC
I will stay with my husband and 2 kids (2 and 10) from Sep 1st till the 6th in Martinique,
can anyone give some advice about what not to miss, where to eat genuine local food, and what to avoid, so we may profit the most from the time we have? |

Hello!
Well I won't give you the complete guide of Martinique, but you absolutly need to go to the "Gorges de la Falaise" which is a very nice adventure. It is accessible for all the family and incredibly nice, just get your trunks and be ready to experience "The Gorges" from inside! Another thing not to be missed is the visit of a "rhumerie" which is tipical of this kind of island. If you go to les 3 ilets, have a dinner at "Ponton" a nice and relxaed restaurant by the beach. And have a look at the "Rocher du diamant" and its beach which is one of the nicest... Take your time, rent a car and then have a look around the island it is not that big and there is a lot to see!
