How do you get from Udon Aiport to the Bus Terminal for the VIP Buses to Vientiane? How long is the ride from Airport to the Udon VIP Bus terminal? Do ASEAN passport holders require a visa to laos? |

you can catch a shuttle/minibus from the airport straight to Vientiane. see times here http://www.udonmap.com/index.php?categoryid=26. for 100-150 B (different websites gave different prices.
this website http://www.gonomad.com/transports/0011/clontz_laos.html gives very detailed info for getting from airport to the crossing the border on the bridge. i saw a list of prices for nationals from different countries, and ASEAN member citizens are exempted from the visa fees. but i am not sure if there are other fees you may have to pay, like using the border on weekends, and lunch times. hope this helps.
