marcos mausoleum

Would anybody know if they are open on Good Friday? We leave Laoag Sat noon. Maybe we could also drop by Sat morning, if they are open. Also, is it near Fort Ilocandia? Thanks for any info.

Not sure if it's open on Good Friday or Black Saturday. As I recall when we went there (November), the mausoleum was closed but we requested the caretaker to open it for us which he willingly did. The mausoleum is in Batac and not Laoag. Batac is about 30-45mins from Laoag.

thanks for that info. And all along I thought the mausoleum was just in laoag. ha ha. there goes my history. I'll have to ask the concierge na lang siguro

Since it was in Batac, we didn't go. We just stayed at Fort Ilocandia. But I asked the concierge at the hotel while we were there and they said it was closed that day.
