Hi

I went to Turks last Sept. and we did have some rain everyday but it was passing and not too bad. But also last year was not a heavy hurricane year so it can vary. It did rain a few of the nights pretty hard but again by morning it was over.

Also we were told by many locals that the islands of Turks and Caicos have not been hit by a hurricane since the 1960's!

It is hard to guess how the weather will be during a specific week in the future, but we were there for a week and it drizzled twice - didn't matter at all. (1) Provo is as flat as a pancake, so the rain clouds don't hang around at all - an hour later it was 80 degrees, the sun was blazing and the ground was dry; (2) the tallest plant on the island might come up to your shoulder - seems pretty much to be a desert. Of course the resorts don't look like deserts because they water every night.

By the way, the Beaches resort was really amazing. Food was excellent, snorkling was free (our 7 and 9 year old loved it), beach was perfect, employees were terrific. People who had been to other resorts said this one was the best they'd been to. We'll definitely be going back.

Definetly can rain. Usually doesn't last long unless it is a front and then, like all weather, it is unpredictable. But it is so pretty there it almost doesn't matter.
