| Ha Long | Has anyone engaged the service of vietnam paradise travel? Posted: Sat March 17, 2007 07:02 AM UTC
Hi,
If there's anyone of you that has enganged the service of vietnam paradise travel, please do share your experience. Me and my friends is about to book a tour from this tour operator, and we are required to pay deposit of USD500. I was wondering if this tour operator can be trusted. Usually other tour operators do not ask for deposit. http://www.vietnamparadisetravel.com/Home.asp |

I haven't been to Vietnam for a couple of years but there was always plenty of travel agencies to book through when I arrived in Hanoi. My advice is to leave it until u arrive unless they are really offering something out of the ordinary or u want no hassles when u arrive.
Usually you will find prices cheaper once you arrive because of the competition and the ease that you check each one out. Is it for hotels or a Halong bay tour? When is it for for ,peak season?. Very slick site so they might be legitimate.

Hi Neilzonwheelz,
Thanks a lot for your advice. :) I do agree with you. However, my friends and I are planning to visit Sapa, Ha Long and Hanoi within 5D,4N. The schedule is a bit tight, and therefore we think that it's better to book the tour ahead. This would ensure that we have a smooth schedule later. Thanks again for your suggestions. ;)

I've gotta say Sapa even in 2003 had become very touristy, the "Cat" people have become very commercial. From Sapa we went to Bac Ha & loved the markets, it was at no stage as commercial Sapa - probably is now though sadly.
You have a hetic schedule, it was about 6-7 hr trip to Sapa each way, Halong bay much closer. I really liked Hanoi, have a great time.

ph7-- you have chosen a very very busy itinerary for only five days- you are going to be rushing everywhere. Would it not be possible to visit Sapa another time when you have a little longer to spare?

Hi there, I've used Paradise Travel agency to book all my flights in Vietnam and I'm very pleased with their service, didn't have any problem at all.
In my opinion you can trust them. Good luck

I too am looking at a tour offered by Paradise Travel and have the same concerns. Does anyone have any experience of tours through this company, positive or otherwise?
