Sintra searching for blue and white portugese ceramics

hi, i'll be in sintra at the end of march and i would like to buy some of the beautiful blue and white ceramics (or is it china?) that i've only seen iin pictures. can anyone give me places i should shop/look for this? thanks.

If you are buying some serious amounts, I suggest you to go to Lisbon for better deals and bigger range for ceramics. Sintra is more like a touristic place for souvenires. It takes about 30 minutes to Lisbon by direct train and also very worth of seeing.

Alcobaça is the main ceramic manufacturing centre in the county and bound to have some good shops but if you cannot get there here is a list worth investigating:

If you leave it for last minute:
I’ve bought some ceramics at Faro airport (a bit pricey!) in one of the shops for tourists and I expect that Lisbon airport may also have some similar.

These ceramics are beautiful so I congratulate you on your taste!
