Travelling alone

Hi to everybody!

I am trying to organize a trip to mali this summer, the fact is that there are hundrends of agencies that orginze the trip but i will like to go alone with a girlfriend, is it ok for 2 girls to travel alone? is easy to get to places and move around? we will like to see mali-burkina faso, any advice?
