Baku Travel Forum

i've been in baku for a few days and plan to be a here for another 3 or so months working as an intern with a couple of ngo's. i'd be keen to meet up with any other english-speaking tourists in the area to do general touristy things together on weekends and in the evenings. i would be particularly interested in doing some weekend sidetrips to more regional areas of azerbaijan. it's a little intimidating being a tourist by myself, even if i do speak a little turkish, so it could be good to share any difficulties with a few other travelers.

I'll be there in October, but don't know if you'll still be there. You also may want to search for VTers who live in Baku, and see if they want to get together! Good luck.
