Manchester Bed & Breakfast In Manchester

I am coming to Manchester in June for the George Michael concert at the City of Manchester Stadium. Can anyone tell me of a clean, B&B I can book into in a nice central location? Any help would be appreciated as I have been looking at hotels and they are extortionate.

Can you be a bit more specific about your budget and I'll take a look around the local establishments.

www.smoothhound.co.uk has good suggestions for B&Bs all over the UK. I've never not been able to find a good choice on that website!

There isn't really that many B&B's in Central Manchester, and I'd avoid staying near the City Stadium, as the area is propably the worst there is in the city.

Travelodge's website can sometimes have rooms available cheaply if you book ahead.

Merchants Hotel (0161 236 2939) behind Piccadilly has rooms from £35, although you kinda get what you pay for.

I know there's a brand new hostel called Hatters hostel and also Hilton Chambers. Try the website www.hattersgroup.com. I have no idea what they are like but it says it is hotel standard accommodation.
