Hi I arrive around after 8 in Bergamo airport and was wondering what would be the best way to get from the airport to the old town? Square Pontida to be exact...

hi!
I think the best way is to get the city bus that reaches "porta nuova". I think the ticket costs 1.60 euros Then you can walk for something like 1KM to reach "Piazza Pontida". YOu have just to pass through the two "temples" in porta nuova (we call them propilei) and the turn left in the pedestrian street called "via XX settembre". Walk along this street and you will reach Piazza Pontida. If you have any other question, please ask! Regards, Sergio
