I'm staying in Riyadh and i'm thinking about going to UAE for a visit with my car. Which is the best route to follow? dammam road or south through Harad? any tips or recommendations? thanks, ash |

Ive used both routes and I preferred the Dammam road as it had many more service stations to stop over and take a break at.

My car got stuck in sand... (dont ask- my own fault), so it took around 5 hours. But im sure you can do it in 4 if you put your foot down. (not that im condoning that sort of behaviour). But always allow extra time, anything can happen and the AA are not really present.
