How Much for a Taxi from the airport?

I was wondering if anyone has taken a taxi to PDC from the Cancun airport lately or what is the best way to get down there?

I was there about a month ago.

Take the bus! It is only $8 and is real comfortable. They show movies on it also. I watched Bewitched.
I am not sure how much a taxi is but it is probably a lot more than $8.
More money left over for other fun stuff.

The bus departing from the bus station right in PDC's City Centre will drop you right at Cancun's airport. I also believe there is no point of taking a taxi unless you find yourself in the rush of missing your plane.

I don't recall it being 8 whole dollars. Maybe it was 40-50 pesos to get to Playa. Head out of the main arrivals area and turn right. Head down past the end of the building into the parking lot there. Get on the next bus leaving that says Riviera.

The bus price difference depends on whether you happen to get on a 1st or 2nd class bus--whether is ADO or Mayab.
To answer the original question: A taxi should be $50.

The bus is cheapest if you do not need to get to the Cancun airport before 9am.
If you need to get there before 9am and have a lot of luggage you may need a van as taxis have limited cargo area.
4 people with full size luggage will not fit in a taxi, 3 people maybe.
The last time I took a taxi the cost was 380 peso.
