I have been to Ireland a few times but never to Cork. I am taking my father and his wife who are in their mid 70's and her son and her sons wife in their late 50's.
I want to stay somewhere in Cork that is very nice. Where is the nicest part of Cork to stay? Or, should I skip Cork and stay in Killarney? We will be staying for 2 nights and then must go to Galway for a few days afterwards. And advice would be grately appreciated. Thank you. James Fitzgerald |

Stay in the Metropole Hotel, Cork. Its very nice :-)

It depends on how much you want to spend. Hayfield Manor is five star and divine.
As for staying in Killarney - it's beautiful there too but in an entirely different way. Most recently I stayed in the Killarney Plaza which is right in the City Centre and very appealing. There's a review on my Killarney pages. What sort of things do they want to see?
