Hi,

I'd like to go to Sanya in mid April and I would like to know what is the cheapest flight tickets price from shanghai - sanya?
Cheapest I found for round trip is 2500 RMB, which is still expensive in my opinion..

Or do you know a good travel agency in Shanghai or where I can find good deals?

elong.net shows oneway discounted flights for 760 including tax and fees. I have other web sites for china flights as tips on my china page. Many times flights within China are cheaper closer to the departure date.

It's almost impossible to get a discouted fare for RMB 760 oneway all inclusive from Shanghai-Sanya in the mid April on elong.net.
The price shows RMB1130 which is already 40% off, and RMB130 taxes & fees extra.
The only budget airlines operating the scheduled flights between Shanghai and Sanya is Spring Air based in Shanghai.
You may find your fare as cheap as RMB630 excludes taxes and fees online, however online service provided in Chinese version only and few large discounted fare available on one fligh so you have to book as early as possible.

Ive found that deals going down to Sanya are best tsken if they include accomodation. Dont even try to get a good deal based only on airfare.I have looked into it a dozen times and youre looking at 2500-3000 return. If you throw in accomodation, you usually get everything for 3000-3500 for about 3 or four nights...id go to a travel agent if i were you...much better than just getting the flight alone.

I've tried both air+hotel seperately and a package air/hotel all inclusive,and some agree with upstair's suggestion.

If you could get round trip fare cheaper than RMB1600 excluding tax & fee from Spring Air or any other airlines,agency, then you may choose your accormadation seperately.

Otherwise, contact Spring Air or Shanghai Airlines for their package caz both of them operate scheduled flights between Shanghai and Sanya.

Train stations in China usually don't have their own websites. I'm sorry but that sounded a little silly.

It didnt sound silly whatsoever..they wanted to know whereabouts in haikou the station was of course instead of arriving there and walking round and round the city.

Or, just get on a taxi. I haven't found any taxi driver in China who doesn't know where their city's train station is. Unless there isn't one to start with.
