| Iquitos | Jungle lodges: book in advance? Posted: Thu March 8, 2007 07:04 PM UTC
I'm headed down to Iquitos for the first week in June, and want to spend about three days in the jungle. Should I book a place in advance, online, or would I get a better deal just going to the city and booking something there? I just don't want to get there and find they're all booked or charge more on short notice.
And any recommendations for the best places on the less expensive end? Very grateful for any help. Sam |

I would check a few websites and decide which lodge is best from the sites. Then book. You will be bombarded by callers once you step out of the airplane and having the lodge rep. pick you up and not get hassled is good.
Check my Iquitos page for the lodge and website I used. Have fun. Bring DEET.
