| Dumaguete City | Top things to do in Dumaguete? Posted: Thu March 8, 2007 11:08 AM UTC
Hi All,
My friends and I are going to Dumaguete mid April for 4 days. We all love to do snorkeling and beach hopping. Our planned IT is to do a full day in Apo Island and another day in Bais for dolphin watching. We're booking a tour for the Bais trip but we plan to just make our own arrangement for the Apo trip. Is this a good idea? Anybody from Dumaguete who can advise us? What else can we fit for less than a day? What else is a must? :) Thanks in advance. Liza |

There's a site you can visit which give ample information about things you can do in Dumaguete. This is also include a forum where you can post your queries, people in the forum are friendly and some are willing to help in the best of their knowledge. With regards to activity you can fit in half day, most likely a trip to forest camp will meet that criteria,it near dumaguete ,also serve food. You can splash or swim in their natural pools.Or you can make this a whole day trip by merging with it a hike to Casaroro falls which is further up Forest camp.
Here's the site for you to look into : http://www.dumagueteinfo.com/ For the furom : http://www.dumagueteinfo.com/board/ Enjoy your trip!

You can go to Valencia.
In Dumaguete, take a tricycle going to the Terminal for Valencia. The fare is 6 pesos per person. Once at the terminal, you'll see huge jeepneys or multi cabs. The fare is just 10 pesos. Once you reach the Valencia Town Proper, you'll be flocked with Habal-Habal (2 wheel motorbikes for hire) drivers. The normal fare is 10 - 15 pesos per person for one trip unless you hire their services for the rest of the day. You can opt to go to the following destinations: Forrest Camp Casa Roro Japanese Shrine The trip going to valencia takes approximately 15 minutes.
