Hello, I'll be flying into Hamburg soon and from there I plan to make my way to Olomoucky. Any suggestions on the most cost effecient way there? Also, what would be a good estimate on the cost of food, hostel and transportation? Any info. would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello,
There don't seem to be any direct coaches to Olomouc, so your best bet is the train, which takes around 9 hours (1-2 connections) and costs 100-120 Euro one-way. Alternatively make your way to Berlin by train and then take an overnight bus from there (50 Euros one-way). George

Take the train from Hamburg to Prague, and then take the express bus from Prague, Florenc Station to Brno / Olomouc / Ostrava
