| County Donegal | Donegal without a car? Posted: Wed March 7, 2007 02:04 PM UTC
Hello there,
My friend and I are planning to go to Ireland next June. We would like to go to Galway and then to Sligo, and we are thinking of wandering further North up to Donegal. The thing is, neither of us can drive so we will have to use public transport... Are there any places we could go to by bus in county Donegal, and if so, which town would be the best base for some day trips or walks? Or maybe it is not worth it without a car? Thanks for any advice you may have. :) |

Donegal is great (my dad is from there). I always had a car, but I know my cousin did it by bus going into Letterkenny and taking smaller (local) buses to get around.
