going from Los Angeles to DV saturday morning i am staying in Furnace Creek campgroud saturday night |

You will want to see Scotty's Castle and Urbe Crater.

Furnace Creek is center to most of the most popular sites, so you're set for Zabriskie Point, Dante's View, Artist's Palette and Rhyolite Ghost Town. Scotty's and the crater are remote, so give yourself at least a half day for those attractions.
Many vistas are best at sunrise or sunset. This is true of the famous sand dunes, but, Artist's Drive should be done ONLY at sunset. I made the mistake of a morning visit, and there was no light to truly illuminate the stunning colors. Don't make my mistake ;) GC
