Isle of Man Douglas B & BThat' Reasonable and Clean
Posted: Mon March 5, 2007 10:39 PM UTC
Greetings:
Taking our first trip to IOM in May. Planning on spending some time in Dublin before. We were advised by a native now living in the USA, not to stay in Douglas because of congestion, etc. However, the advise here seems to be that Douglas is best because it is the transportation hub of the island. So, we need specific information on where to best to stay in Douglas at hopefully a reasonable and clean B & B or self catering accomodation. Planning on using public transport to get around. With the US dollar so low against the British pound, finding a reasonably priced place is a priority. Thanks to all for any advice.

I live in Peel, on the West Coast of the Islan with good bus service to Douglas. I have a double room in my apartment at £22 per person per night including continental breakfast. If not already sorted, what dates are you coming? Is it for the TT?
