I have a flight coming into Albany after midnight. The car rental companies are closed after that time and most hotels don't have shuttles running that late.
Can anyone tell me what the closest hotels are to the airport are so I can save on cab fare?

There are 3 pages of hotels under 5 Km's. It looks like the airport is quite close to town

There are several very close. The Wingate is good and close and they may send their shuttle over to get you if you make a reservation there and give them your flight information. I know they run it very early - 5am - so they may run it late as well on request for guests. Actually any of the nearby large Hotels - Hiton Garden, the Desmond or the Holiday Inn Turf might send a shuttle over after hours if you have a reservation. If you don't get anywhere with the hotel, the airport has a new exclusive contract with Capitaland Taxis who sit outside the baggage claim and will take you to any of the close hotels for a $5.00 minium charge + $1.00 surcharge for pickup after 6pm and .20 per 1/10 mile.
