Any transit visa reqd if changing planes at Doha.

Hi,

We are thinking about going with Qatar Airlines for our travel from US to India. For Indian passport holders is there any transit visa required for
changing planes at Doha ?

Also, in case of flight delays/cancellations, if we need to stay overnight
at Doha, are short term visa's issued at the airport. (I read that 2-week visitor visas can be obtained at the airport for certain nationalities...but that list does not have India on it).

Dear Sir,

Since your traveling with Qatar Airways there is nothing to worry abuot , they do help you in Doha Airport to have a visa if you are staying for more than 8-12 hours and take you to rest in a hotel free of charge if you are staying over night. now as if you want to have a 2 weeks visa thats up to the imagration officer.

you will stay at the airport for your connecting flight, so no visa is needed for anyone of any nationality. I am Moroccan and went to UAE a few days ago via Doha where i stayed in duty free without any visa.

i am flying to doha by air arabia and then by qatar airways to bombay, stay at doha airport is about 6 hrs, i dont want to exit into doha and nor have a visa, so how do i get my boarding pass for the next flight which is to bombay ??? please reply on AjazA@techbms as well it will be of great support. thanks
