Hi everyone,

We are flying into Torp Sandefjord from Stansted in a couple of weeks and then catching an internal flight from Gardermoen up to Tromso.

I have been looking online for the best way to get between the airports but cant seem to find a direct shuttle or anything.

We arrive at Torp Sandefjord at 1345 and have a connecting flight at Gardermoen at 1905.

I would be very grateful if anyone knows the best way to get between the two airports in time for us to catch our flight!!

The best way to travel between these two airports is probably to take the Torp Express Bus (http://www.torpekspressen.no/english/index_uk.htm) from Torp to downtown Oslo, and then get either a bus or train onwards from Oslo to Gardermoen.

It is possible to buy one ticket that is vaild for both the Torp Express Bus and the Oslo-Gardermoen Airport Express bus, which might save you a bit of money. This combined ticket costs 215 NOK, and you will have to change bus in Oslo. It you buy the tickets separately, the Torp bus will cost about 140 NOK and the Oslo-Gardermoen bus is 120 NOK.

The other options for getting from downtown Oslo to Gardermoen is by train, either the local train or the airport express train (160NOK the last time I took it).

The bus from Torp to downtown Oslo takes about 2 hours, and the trip from Oslo to Gardermoen will be between 20 minutes and one hour depending on which means of transport you pick.

You can also take a taxi or bus from Torp to Sandefjord railway station and catch a Lillehammer-bound train that will take you directly through Oslo to Gardermoen.
