Hi!
Pulau Kisar is part of Indonesia, more precisely, is part of the Moluku province. As for transportation it may be easier to find from Indonesia (West Timor, Ambom or Alor). Maybe there's a indonesia company which has flights (Merpati, for example). In any case, there may be some ferrys, the most common transportation between islands in eastern Indonesia. But from East Timor there are only connections by land, to West Timor or by air, to Bali. I've been away from ET for some time, so things might have changed in the meantime. Hope it helps... Greetings from Portugal

Hi,
I came from Pulau Kisar, Indonesia, but currently living in the United States. Pulau Kisar is part of Indonesia. 1. There's an aeroplane (Merpati) going to Pulau Kisar ONLY twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday I believe. The Tuesday is from Kupang and Friday is from Ambon, so you have two options. 2. There are numbers of boat going to Pulau Kisar in a week from Ambon or Kupang. There's NO exact schedule of how many boats or the date of boats going to Pulau Kisar, you have to check with local people. May I know what you will be doing in Pulau Kisar since there's nothing special in Pulau Kisar? Thank you, Regards, Reynold Andrew
