1) Travelling from KL-CH, and plan to stay one night only. Worth the trip for nature lovers like us?
2) How is the trip from KL-CH? I read its a long windly uphill ride. If it will result to motion sickness, the trip might not be worth it. 3) Since we're taking the bus from KL-CH, which is more convenient for us to spend the night? Tannah Rata or Brinchang? 4) How far is Tannah Rata from Brinchang? which is more 'livelier'? 5) I am scouring the net for the best places for us to stay, but when I check the reviews of the places i checked, not so good. So any recommendations? 4 adults, budget between 100-150, decent and clean and at least comfortable enough. Since we're spending only one night, we'd like to take as much CH in as possible, so convenience is a MUST. (hotel preferably 5-10min walking distance to bus station) I NEED YOUR HELP. |

1. Would suggest you to make it at least 2 days :-)
2. take the new highway (Simpang Pulai route) rather than Tapah route.... 3. If you are driving (means have your transport) then anywhere else Tanah Rata. Most of the facilities are in Tanah Rata only (bus station, post office etc.) 4. 3-4 km

1) Yes, worth and also enough.
2) KL to CH- logical way is Tapah but less torturous way is SP. Not much difference (in terms of petrol and time) even though SP is longer but it somehow evens out when you use less petrol and time to climb the slopes. But most buses will use Tapah. Very windy. Not for the weak stomach. Don't eat too much before the climb! 3) Tanah Rata for bus takers. 4) Very near, abt 4km, if you drive. Not near if you have to walk.Tanah Rata is liveier in the day. At night, I say Brinchang. 5) 100-150 what currency?
