British Virgin Islands Favorite spot in Virgin Gorda?
Posted: Mon February 26, 2007 12:04 AM UTC
My wife and I are heading to Virgin Gorda and were thinking of reserving a private villa at Nail Bay for a few nights. Before we put money down, what are your suggestions?

Looking for a private villa, private pool, short walk to the beach where we can have good snorkeling from shore.

Thanks!

I've been there twice because of:
- most spectacular views from eth windows I ever seen;
- Nail Bay offer not only only one of teh bets absolute value at VG - gerat location, but as well eraltive - somehow it is one of bets priced options on VG, anaything else, even nearby liek Lon Bay is more exepnsive.

To get a view , you need a villa not straight on teh beach, but slightly on the hill.

Snorekelling from the shore is better at Savannah Bay becah, which is very good beach by itself - 10 min by car.

Beware that you will ahve to orgainze well our VG interilsnad logistics - if you rent a ccar, you shoudl be very ggod driver, as the road to Nail Bay is rather complex, hill side, and really scary in the evening. I better get a driver with car, it is slightly more exepenisve than to rent acra, but then you have guide as beneficial side effect :)

See my travel pages for some pics.
