Genoa Travel Forum

Hello! Our family of 4 is traveling to Genoa in early April for 2 days before going in a cruise with MSC Musica.We are planning on going to the aquarium. I will really appreciate tips on a place to stay and other things to do with the kids. Will concider a B & B or Hotel where we can stay together in 1 room. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I have'nt been there yet, but friends just went and said it was a blast for the kids. All kinds of interacting thinkgs for them to play with, build. Not far from the aquarium. I'll be going myself with our 2 little ones soon.

the natural history museum is also good for your kids.

have a CHOCOLATE GRANITA in SPIANATA CASTELLETTO to don pedro cafè ( it is on a corner few steps back spianata castelletto) looking the panorama...

chocolate granita here is wonderful!!
you can reach spianata with the libery elevator from piazza portello.

or take an ice cream at BOCCADASSE ... at the end of the promenade, it'a an ancient marine villgae now in the city. there is a little beach where every kids of genova had great time playing with stones, waves etc...

go to NERVI parks... you can play volleyball, play in the playgrond, give nuts to the squirrels.... and parks are along the sea! (reach the parks with the bus number 17 or 15 or by train in only 10-15 min)

also MUSEO DEL MARE = sea museum is nice for kids ;)
