Where to go would depend on if you want in the parks or outside of the parks and how much you want to spend. The whole resort has several places with a lot of different selections to select from.

Breakfast:
For Breakfast if you want a Character breakfast there is the Lilo & Stitch Aloha Breakfast in the Paradise Pier Hotel. I felt it was a bit better than the one at Goofy's kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel. Inside of the Grand Californian they have Storytells Resturant which is also very good but not much in the Character Interaction. Inside Disneyland there are a couple of places for breakfast but you will probably have a better one outside the park.

Dinner:
If price is no object then Napa Rose in the Grand Californian is probably the best place in the resort, but expect to spend at least $100 for 2 people. The other Resort hotel resturants are also pretty good, they will be pricy but no as expensive. If you want to eat in the parks then for atmosphere the Blue Bayou is probably the best, but also the most expensive in the park. You might also like Cafe Orleans right next to it. In California Adventure the Vineyard Room is probably the best one in that park.

These are only the ones run by Disney. There is also Downtown Disney which has several resturants but service and food quality can be hit and miss. Also, there is Harbor Blvd about a 10 minute walk that has your standard chain resturants such as Denny's, IHOP.

For any of the table service resturants in the Resort you can make priority seating reservations. The number is 714-781-DINE, and you can call up to 60 days in advance.

If you need more detailed information you can e-mail me.

Hope this helps.
