May is nice period to visit to Kei/ Banda island. Now is still windy, or generally in raining season. It will end on the end of March. Like most Maluku, Kei/ Banda will be hot, around 34-38 degree celcius.
Frankly, I never been to Banda. But I have been to Ambon, Buru island and surrounding many times from 2002-2005. Have a nice trip. Bob

Tank you for your answer.
If I asked that quastion, it's because I saw that in Indonesia the dry season is since april until october. But in Ambon it's the opposite. Raining season start in april! But at approximatively 500-1500km around Ambon it's dry season (Macassar Dili Jayapura). Pulau Kai,Tanimbar, Aru are between Ambon dili and Jayapura! Also I don't know if they have Ambon climate (rain) of Jayapura/Dili climate (dry). I saw that in Ambon it rain more than 400mm water in may(second most rainy month of the yaer). In Jakarta during the rainy season in january it's 360mm ! Also I'm worry to go in this region in may if I have a lot of rain... You've been often in this area...have you been in may? It's real big rain or not? Kai Tnimbar and Aru have the same climate than Ambon or not? Do you know/heard good places in this area (South Moluku and Ambon island) to visit? Thank's a lot!
