HI,

A group of friends (all girls) are planning on heading to MoBay for a week long vacation. We're getting mixed reviews from the travel agents we've been speaking to. One says, the nightlife is awesome, and being three single young women, we are guaranteed to have a good time. The other says, it's dangerous and if we decide to go to Jamaica we shouldn't leave the resort after dark! Any thoughts?

Also....are there any suggestions of must see tours or attractions???

i went to Jamaica last yr and there was only 2 of us, both girls.
we went to montego bay most nights and went clubbing at margaritaville and had a fabulous time.
we were worried about going at first but after the first night we couldnt get enough of it.
The people were so friendly that we met, they also made sure we got a taxi back to our hotel safely which was nice.
Have a great time and ignore the bad reports.

This is not an answer to your question , however I would like to hear about any and all info you have about going to Jamaica, My friend and I a planning a trip this July( both female) and would love to hear about your trip, and if you have any suggestions,on nightlife ,dining and of course shopping, please send any details...love to here from you soon..Also, a co-worker suggested Margueitaville,Amnesia and Wacky Wednesday that starts @ 1am-when ever..

Umm you might want to be a little careful (because they will know you are tourist). My daughter and I went and we had an awesome night life time (but we look alot like the commoner's there). You might want to go to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. You will have a great time there. Be sure travel in groups! Enjoy!
