Your reply states that you want a hotel away from bars, without bars the city would probably fold up.

Here is some info on Hotels. Most of the info is from a "bar" website, but it is still mostly valid. (Turn your volume down to avoid the dance music.)

Angeles has lots of bars close to the airfield (old Clark AFB,) close to the Dau city line. There is a concentration of businesses, shops and stores in Angeles separate from the bar area, sort of downtown Angeles.

Depends on why you want to be in Angeles. If you need a room close to the airport then a hotel near bars is best. None of the bar owners or employees ever physically drag you into a bar.

Two bus stations one close to the airfield in Dau and another one downtown Angeles.

When I was in Angeles I only stayed on Fields Avenue, in the "bar area!" I have taken the 15/20 minute ride by jeepney to get to "downtown" but I can't recall any specific hotel names.

Good luck.

Hal
