Hi, I'll be visiting St. Thomas with my girlfriend between Christmas and New Years, and I plan on popping the question sometime while I'm there. I've never visited St. Thomas, but I was wondering what some of the best places to do this would be (it would be nice if it were private). Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Take a ferry to St. John and ask her there. You can rent dingees without a guide on St John and they give you a map and your off. you can boat around the entire north side of the island with your girl, pull up to any secluded beach (some you can only get to by water) and pop the question with a picnick and bottle of wine. Ive rented the dingee there twice and it was one of the best times ive ever had!

wow ... I am trying to plan the same thing for next fall. Did you find any better ideas? I was connected by royal carribean to a wedding planner who offered a private day cruise with lobster lunch snorkeling etc. She would arrange to have the proposal question set on a beach some where.
I hope you have additional ideas. We also love golfing together but she thought working with the local course wouldn't work. Best of luck!!
