I believe one of the cheapest and quickest way to fly to Comoros is to go through Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. BA, Swiss and KLM all fly to Dar and from there Air Tanzania flies to Comoros 3 times a week. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). You will have to spend a night in Dar es Salaam.

I was very pleased to see that there was still interest in people visiting Grande Comore.
I have noted that there has been some considerable upheaval for some time and am wondering whether things have calmed down yet. I was most impreseed in La Galawa Hotel. Does anybody know what is happening there? Any information or contacts with Grande Comore would be appreciated as I would love to visit this beautiful island again. Many thanks, Matin

I'd like to enquire if anybody knows which airlines connect Moroni to Johannesburg, as we're flying there first next year.
Martin: I heard the hotel was taken over by the island's soldiers, after yet another coup. I really do hope anbody knows more and have visited recently, as we wouldlike to book to this paradise location again! It's our 10 yr wedding anniversary next year and we went here on honeymoon. We loved it so much we vowed to go back next year, WITH 2 young kids in tack!
