i'll be passing through charlotte next month on i-77,what's the best exit to get off at where there's a decent neighborhood and restaurants/bars to walk to? thanks.

One of my nvery favorite restaurants/bar is called TOWN.. It is right off of i-77 on Trade street exit. Dont know if you are heading north or south, but exit onto Traqdse Street heading toward all the tall buildings. It is only a few blocks up on your left (across the street is Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute.
If you are staying as while, lots of places to go dancing/ bars a few blocks more toward town.. Have fun!!

Get off on the 277 exit this will take you towards downtown get off on the college /caldwell exit get offon college and go to dntown downtown is where all bars and resturants are and is very safe recommend anywhere between college and tyron with rockbottoms having good food andbrews and bar charlotte for wide open bar or ri ras for a laidback irish pub atmosphere
