Caracas	Accommodation (budget) in Caracas Posted: Thu February 15, 2007 09:45 AM UTC Hi I'm getting very mixed reports about the safety of Caracas. Some have said it's an amazing city and some have said to avoid it like the plague. I'm hoping to stay there for a few days later in the year while travelling S.America. Can you recommend a hotel that is $25 approx or under per night in a reasonable area of the city please? I'm getting very mixed reports about the safety of Caracas. Some have said it's an amazing city and some have said to avoid it like the plague. HI I have many friends in caracas and they told me some parts of the city are very safe and some parts you should no go but i think is a nice city to spend a couple of days.

about acomodation i heart there is a new youth hostel, very clean and cheap called los panitas youth hostel, i heart some people told me is a nice place and the owner very friendly, I have the email if you like it, is anhuertas@hotmail.com, they pick you up at the airport and everything...

if you have more quiestions about the country let me know i have been there many times...
