We will be visiting the Cappadocia area in October and would like to find a private guide to show us the area. Any suggestions on how to find a reputable and good, English speaking guide for the area? Thank you.

Almost all (if not ALL) hotels and accommodations in Cappadocia have their tour services, either their own or a tie-up agent.

So normally, you won't need booking tours or contacting tour agents in advance because your accommodation will eventually offer you package tours which basically includes an english (or Japanese or French or local speaking guide).

We stayed in Goreme area and our accommodation immediately offered us affordable package tours and a balloon ride (cost less than the market price).

You don't worry about tours in Cappadocia, hotels and just everywhere, you'll find tour packages that suits your needs, they don't normally differ in price and services.
