| Reno | Wedding Chapel Lake Tahoe Posted: Tue February 13, 2007 02:57 AM UTC
I recently lost my 14 year old sister in a tragic accident. My fiancee' and I decided to go to Lake Tahoe to be married at the end of March. I'm not able to handle being married at home at the church my sister's funeral was just at. I think it's best to have a small, romantic ceremony away from home. I'm looking for help planning a tasteful but economical wedding. I'd really like something in the mountains with a beautiful view. I'd imagine some of the more reasonable, quaint chapels do not have websites. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated! David and I are just starting out and money is tight. I want something romantic but money is a huge factor. We'd only have a max of 4 guests. Thank you kindly.

Check with some of the hotels at north shore around Incline Village. They have outdoor venues for weddings.

Jim hit the nail on the head. There are other venues, but the Hyatt in Incline and the CalNeva have small, private outdoor facilities close to the water.
